A methodological approach

• Methodology is very well established in conventional ICT systems development projects

• "waterfall" - "prototyping" - "evolutionary"

• helps to predict times and costs

• is a focus for feedback and improvement

• Need to update traditional approaches, to cover e-commerce and virtual organisations

• only then will we be able to establish best practice on "how to do it"
