- I want to play in a rule-governed game, or participate in a shared activity, as agreed between participants
- go to people wanting to play
- What kinds of games are there?
- Obvious examples include:
- board games, either in person at a particular location, or online on an agreed platform;
- role-playing games;
- non-competitive games;
- physical sports that do not require pitches, courts, or other club-owned facilities;
- self-organised singing or playing music together;
- ….
- The variety of games is limited only by people's imagination and common sense. Any group of people may propose a new game to be included in the games here: to do this, there must first be general agreement that the game is clear. That group, who will consider requests for changing the rules.
- The intention here is to open up play and recreation to people outside of established clubs for known games.
- Games must have no consequences in life outside the game, except that you get to know the other players better.
- It is not envisaged that this service will actually provide game play. The point is that when two or more people have agreed to play a game together, those people will be put in touch, and they will be responsible for setting up the game either in real life or in any platform they choose.
- The common ground for all games is that all participants agree to play according to their selected role according to the rules, and anyone feeling uncomfortable may drop out at any time, for example if another player breaks the rules.
