This folder contains several example RDCEO files, together with a few other related files.

RDCEO files

The head of the structure is testset.xml. It is not intended to be comprehensive, but just an illustration of the way that such a set might be structured.

Facets: VDEX

As an illustration of a facet for one of the above, for the DB.xml skill, there is now an illustrative

• a VDEX vocabulary for DB software
• and a brief page describing this

More generally, as part of the recommendations, the possibilities for assessment should be documented:

• a page describing the assessability facets
• possible bases of assessment
• possible assessors
• what evidence may endure

Related Schema files

The other files which are used by these are:

• imsrdceo_rootv1p0.xsd with a small alteration that on line 36 "strict" has been changed to "lax", to avoid problems with xml:lang attributes;
• xml.xsd (the 2004/10 version);
• ims_xml.xsd (a version from the IMS site);
• imsmd_v1p2p2.xsd, IMS's version of LOM;
• imsvdex_v1p0.xsd, the IMS VDEX schema.

For the moment, I'll just say that there is some confusion about the "xml:lang" attributes. I hope this is resolved sometime.
