Interpretation of hasLOCpart
- When a LOCstructure hasLOCpart another LOCstructure, the relationship is equivalent to dc:hasPart.
- When a LOCstructure hasLOCpart a LOCdefinition, that is understood as the structure including the definition at the top level. Since hasLOCpart is transitive, all the LOCdefinitions directly defined in the structure are also included.
- When a LOCdefinition hasLOCpart another LOCdefinition, the relationship is close in meaning to skos:narrowerTransitive, one of the SKOS Semantic Relations.
- LOCdefinition hasLOCpart LOCstructure has no defined meaning, and should not be used in InLOC representations.
The interpretation of isLOCpartOf follows by reversing relationships and using inverses.
